Anuel AA Sued Following Alleged Assault at Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay
Puerto Rican singer Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, known professionally as Anuel AA, is facing a lawsuit stemming from an alleged assault that occurred at Universal Orlando Resort’s Volcano Bay water park.
Florida resident Fernando Dávila filed the suit, claiming he was attacked by Anuel AA and five unidentified individuals on April 25, 2025.According too the legal complaint, Dávila was struck multiple times in the head and neck without provocation.
“The defendant incurred extreme and scandalous conduct by violently assaulting the plaintiff in a public place, without provocation,” stated the claim, filed by attorney Michael Singh.
Dávila alleges he suffered significant physical and emotional distress consequently of the incident. He reports experiencing anxiety, humiliation, mental anguish, and psychological trauma, including recurring nightmares, hypervigilance, and a fear of public places and crowds. The lawsuit notes that Dávila’s mother and daughter witnessed the alleged attack, exacerbating the emotional impact.
In addition to the claim against Anuel AA,Dávila is also pursuing legal action against Universal Theme Park,alleging negligence in providing adequate security. He is seeking $50,000 in damages, arguing the park failed to provide sufficient personnel to supervise guests, intervene in disturbances, or prevent acts of violence. The complaint further asserts that the location of the alleged assault had a history of crowd control and altercation issues, necessitating increased security measures.
