the 3.0 update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has brought a wealth of new content, including exciting crossovers with Splatoon and The Legend of Zelda. These collaborations allow players to invite unique characters to their islands by utilizing specific Amiibo figures,unlocking themed furniture and clothing in the process. Crossover Characters: Splatoon and Zelda
Update 3.0 introduces four special nintendo characters who can visit your island: Mineru and Tulin from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Cece and Viché, inspired by Callie and Marie from Splatoon. Each character requires a specific set of Amiibo to be tapped to trigger their visit.
How to Use Amiibo
To invite these characters, visit the Nook Stop ATM inside the Resident Services building. Select the “Invite a camper” option and then tap a compatible Amiibo. The character will then appear at your island’s campsite.
Beyond inviting the characters, unlocking them also grants access to themed furniture and clothing items. These can be purchased from the “Promotional” tab within the nook Shopping menu, accessible via the Nook Stop ATM or the Nook Shopping app.
