Floyd recounted their first meeting, stating, “We met in Italy at eighteen – two kids scrambling for work, chasing modeling dreams, trying to build a life without starving along the way.” He noted that even then, there was a spark between them, but the timing wasn’t right. The pair later found themselves in Los Angeles pursuing acting careers, where they were together and in love, though Floyd acknowledged Harmon’s greater success.
Their paths diverged, with Floyd eventually finding his passion shaping surfboards in Costa Mesa, California. However, after 27 years, they reconnected. “Now the timing is right.
