Cairo, Egypt – Recent reports concerning the health of Egyptian singer Angham have been clarified by journalist Mahmoud Saad, who refuted claims of surgical complications or high-risk interventions. Saad revealed Wednesday that the primary challenge in Angham’s recovery stems from a secretion produced by her pancreas, hindering her progress.
According to Saad, attempts to fully eliminate the pancreatic secretion have been unsuccessful, necessitating a partial intervention to drain the fluid. He emphasized this procedure is routine in similar medical cases and does not constitute new surgery. “What is being circulated about the doctors’ inability to intervene surgical or excessive risk in her situation is incorrect,” Saad stated.
Contrary to rumors, Saad confirmed Angham is not being fed through a tube. While her appetite is diminished due to illness and hospital stay, she is able to eat normally, albeit in smaller quantities. “Melodies do not eat tubes, they eat in the normal way, but they do not eat as required as a person’s ability to eat inside hospitals and during illness and pain is weak,” he explained. Saad also noted a meaningful weight loss.
saad anticipates Angham will remain hospitalized for approximately another week. the singer was admitted to hospital earlier this month, though the exact date of admission was not specified. The nature of the pancreatic issue remains undisclosed beyond the description of the problematic secretion.
Angham, whose full name is Fatma Thabet Angham Mohamed, is a prominent figure in the Arab music industry, with a career spanning decades and numerous hit albums. She has received several awards and accolades throughout her career.
