Inspired by a dream of her husband, she accepted a bid of €215,000, expressing her satisfaction with the outcome. “I am satisfied,” she stated after making her decision. Her husband, Gary, provided advice from the studio audience.
The Miljoenenjacht format involves a finalist selecting a suitcase containing an unknown amount of money.By opening other suitcases to eliminate potential values, the remaining amounts influence a bank offer. Anette initially declined a bid of €91,000 before ultimately agreeing to the larger sum.
Following her acceptance, Anette opened remaining suitcases revealing high-value amounts, suggesting a subsequent bid would have been substantially lower. Her own suitcase contained a check for €10,000. This win follows a previous Drenthe success story from three years prior, when bertha from Ubbena won nearly half a million euros on the same show.
