An earthquake was felt this evening in Haskovo, Kardjali and Madjarovo, the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the BAS reported.
The earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 was recorded with an epicenter in the area of the town of Madjarovo. According to data from the National Seismological Center at NIGGG-BAN, the event at 21:51 Bulgarian time had an epicenter 230 km from the city of Sofia, and so far there is evidence that the earthquake was weakly felt in the area of the cities of Madjarovo, Kardjali and Haskovo, added by the institute.
