Column from El Ángel reports on a frightening incident involving the Tigres squad, who experienced notable distress when their aircraft encountered difficulties landing in Toluca.
A source identified as “Judas Tigre,” who was aboard the plane, recounted the harrowing experience: “We almost died,” he stated, conveying both seriousness and a touch of dark humor. “We were landing (in Toluca) and the plane hit the track, so much so that it had to abort the landing. It felt like we were going down… There was real fear.”
The source further elaborated, “We couldn’t land, we dropped and the plane was raised again; everyone was scared, some were praying. It was very intense. We felt like we were very close [to disaster].”
