Allied Universal Names Jordan Avnaim Global Chief Information Security Officer
Allied Universal appointed Jordan Avnaim as its new Global Chief Information Security Officer on August 19, 2026, tasking the executive with leading the security and facility services provider’s worldwide cybersecurity strategy, risk-based programs, and operations across more than 100 countries and territories, according to company announcements.
Executive Transition and Global Leadership Structure
Avnaim brings more than 20 years of sector experience to the post, reporting directly to Allied Universal Global General Counsel Loretta Cecil. In the announcement, Cecil noted that Avnaim possesses an exceptional combination of cybersecurity leadership, enterprise risk management experience, and sound business judgment. The appointment positions Avnaim to oversee the company’s global cybersecurity resources and teams while working closely with technology, legal, operations, and business units.
Scaling Cyber Resilience Across Fortune 500 Operations
As the trusted security partner to more than 400 of the Fortune 500, Allied Universal deploys advanced solutions including AI-enabled security technology, integrated systems, and response capabilities. Global Chairman and CEO Steve Jones emphasized that protecting employees, systems, and data remains fundamental to serving customers and operating effectively on a global scale. Jones stated that Avnaim combines deep technical expertise with a clear understanding of enterprise risk to support innovation and responsible growth.

Avnaim’s mandate focuses on developing and implementing a comprehensive, risk-based cybersecurity program designed to protect employees, systems, data and technology platforms against evolving cyber threats. Before joining Allied Universal, Avnaim served as chief information security officer at Hyundai AutoEver America and at Entrust Corp., where he was responsible for global information security programs across more than 150 countries, 40 offices, and 20 data centers. His background also includes senior technology risk and information security leadership positions at the Capital Group Companies.
Academic Background and Industry Affiliations
The newly appointed global CISO holds a Master of Engineering in management of technology, with an emphasis in information security and risk management, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering in computer engineering and mathematics from Vanderbilt University. He maintains professional credentials as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and holds active memberships in InfraGard, ISACA, and ISC2.
Reflecting on his new role, Avnaim stated that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility requiring strong governance, operational readiness, and cross-organizational collaboration.
