Clorox has introduced a new line of daily allergen neutralizer sprays developed in collaboration with allergists, aiming to address growing concerns about indoor air quality and allergen exposure. The products, branded as Clorox™ PURE™ Allergen Neutralizer, are designed to neutralize non-living pollen, dust mite matter and pet dander.
The initial product offering includes a daily air spray available in four fragrances: Clean Breeze, Ocean Mist, Nighttime Calm, and Energizing Citrus. According to Clorox, the fragrances are formulated without 82 common fragrance allergens often found in scented products. The air spray is intended for use 1-2 times daily, particularly during peak allergen seasons.
Beyond the air spray, Clorox has too released a fabric and carpet spray under the PURE Allergen Neutralizer line. This spray targets allergens present on soft surfaces within the home. Both products utilize a plant-based active ingredient with what Clorox calls Aller-Fresh™ technology.
The company emphasizes the safety of the products for use around children and pets, though cautions that, like other sprays, sensitive individuals and pets should not be present during application, and the sprays should not be used around birds. The daily air spray is available in 8oz containers.
