Aroldis Chapman attributes his success to manager Alex Cora,citing their shared latin heritage and Cora’s supportive approach.
“first of all, he’s Latin and I can communicate with him any time I want. Second, he cares about his players. He cares about me and gives me confidence,” Chapman stated.
Chapman acknowledged initial concern following the trade of rafael Devers.
“My first reaction was ‘What is happening here?'” he recalled. “But that’s something I can’t control so you just keep going.”
His current objective is to compete for a championship in october.
“this is a good team,” said Chapman, who also won a World Series with the Texas Rangers in 2023. “I think we’re going to get better. I like what we’re doing.”
