Alfa Romeo Unveils 33 Stradale Perla Nera Bespoke Carbon Fiber Supercar
Alfa Romeo has unveiled a bespoke 33 Stradale Perla Nera supercar at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, Italy. The vehicle is part of an ultra-limited run of just 33 units produced for the series, and it is the only one featuring a matte-finished, completely exposed black carbon-fiber body.
Hand-Laid Carbon Fiber Defines Perla Nera Design
The name “Perla Nera,” which translates to “Black Pearl” in English, was chosen and officially registered by the car’s owner, described in the press release as a passionate collector and profound connoisseur of the automotive world.
The carbon fiber was laid by hand within the mold, and a herringbone pattern adorns the roof while accentuating the front hood’s V-shape. The monochromatic exterior features no external badges except for the black Alfa Romeo brand emblems. Inside, the car includes a black Alcantara environment, a driver’s seat tailored to the owner’s body, and the owner’s initials added to the gear selector.
V6 Engine Delivers 630 Horsepower
Inspired by the legendary 1967 33 Stradale, the Perla Nera utilizes a carbon-fiber monocoque combined with an aluminum H-frame chassis. It features a mid-engine 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 630 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels. The supercar achieves a 0-62 mph time of less than three seconds and reaches a top speed of 207 mph.
Perla Nera Displays at Alfa Romeo Museum
The project originated from Bottega Alfa Romeo, a part of Stellantis’ BottegaFuoriserie atelier. While the base price of a 33 Stradale is more than $2 million, all 33 examples have long been spoken for. The Perla Nera will be on display at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese until October 18th.
