alex van Halen is preparing to release a comprehensive anthology book,tentatively titled van Halen,offering unprecedented access to the band’s history. the project marks the first time the Van Halen family archive will be opened to the public, promising a detailed look at the group’s formative years.
According to a press release from Genesis Publications, the book will focus on the period between 1978 and 1984, tracing the band’s evolution “through correspondence, tour memorabilia, album artwork, press material, musical equipment, unpublished photographs and much more – charting the brothers’ journey from childhood and the band’s formation to their debut and meteoric rise.”
