Alex Perez is set to return to the Octagon this Saturday for his 35th professional fight, aiming to reignite his championship ambitions after a recent injury sidelined him. The flyweight contender expressed excitement about facing a grappling-focused opponent, noting, “He has beat some of the guys that I usually help out, like Ode and some of these other guys, so I’m excited for the challenge.” Perez believes his evolved skillset, distinct from that of Manel Kape who previously defeated his opponent, will be key. “Me and Manel now have a totally different game, so I’m excited to solve this puzzle,” he saeid.He anticipates a potential stand-up battle despite both fighters’ grappling backgrounds and looks forward to testing his wrestling.
