The Alaska Department of Law is seeking an attorney to advise both the Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Revenue, with a focus on oil and gas issues. An unlicensed attorney would start at $89,895 or $92,703, while an attorney with more than four years of experience could earn between $125,482.50 and $143,734.50. Geographical pay differences apply, with additional compensation for positions in Fairbanks (3%), Juneau and Sitka (5%), Kodiak (11%), Nome and Dillingham (37%), Bethel and Utqiagvik (50%), and Kotzebue (60%). The base pay remains unchanged for positions in Anchorage, Kenai, Palmer, and Ketchikan.
