Montrabé’s “school of Secrets” summer Program Empowers Young Spies
Montrabé, France – August 25, 2024 – Children aged 3 to 12 in montrabé, Haute-garonne, are concluding a thrilling summer program at the Alae de Montrabé, dubbed “The School of Secrets.” The initiative, running throughout July and the final week of August, has immersed youngsters in a world of adventure, mystery, and collaborative problem-solving, fostering crucial skills while providing a safe and engaging environment during the school holidays.
The Alae de Montrabé’s summer program isn’t just childcare; it’s a carefully constructed educational experience aligned with the territorial educational project. This year’s theme, “The School of Secrets,” transforms participants into “young spies in training,” tasked with a large-scale immersive inquiry – “the black alert” – to protect their agency from a shadowy criminal organization.
Led by a team of attentive and creative animators, the program features a diverse range of activities designed to build teamwork and encourage imaginative play. Daily challenges include secret agent obstacle courses, bicycle routes exploring the local area around Montrabé, skill-based games, clue-led hunts, and water-based fun like relay races (“The Safe Keeper” and “goblet Race”). Emphasis is placed on cooperation rather than competition, strengthening group cohesion and the joy of shared experiences.
Beyond physical activities, the “School of Secrets” nurtures creativity through hands-on workshops. Children have been crafting essential spy tools like compasses, coded messages, and disguises, alongside sensory boxes and personalized bracelets. Unique activities, such as creating ink-revealing paper, promote patience and ingenuity. Storytelling sessions featuring spy-themed tales and a cooking workshop focused on creating refreshing summer drinks further enrich the experience.
The program culminates in a “Festival of Secret Agents” on August 28th at the Skate Park Malpas, featuring a final, large-scale game and a celebratory picnic. This event provides a public showcase of the skills and teamwork developed throughout the summer.
The ALSH of Montrabé (Accueil de Loisirs Sans Hébergement – Recreation Without Accommodation) has once again demonstrated its commitment to providing high-quality childcare that balances fun, education, safety, and creativity.
