Egyptian actor Ahmed Adam shared a poignant story about a past television project and a surprising encounter with the late actor Farouk Al-Fishawi during a recent interview. The conversation took place on the third episode of writer Majdi al-Jallad’s programme, “Critical Questions,” which airs on an undisclosed platform.
Adam recounted a time when he proposed a television series idea, only to be met with skepticism. He was advised against pursuing the project, with concerns raised that it wouldn’t attract an audience if aired within an agricultural program slot. He described feeling discouraged, but ultimately found success with a different approach. He emphasized the importance of trusting in a higher power and recognizing the value of initial efforts, even if their immediate impact isn’t apparent. He stated, “The seed of work was more useful for what you do.”
The interview also featured a notably memorable moment involving Farouk Al-Fishawi, who passed away on August 28, 2019, at the age of 67 after a battle with leukemia. Adam revealed that Al-Fishawi performed a song on live television for the very frist time during the program. This performance, according to Adam, was a significant and impactful moment.
“Critical Questions” reportedly delves into a range of topics, including technology and political issues. The program has already featured insights from numerous prominent figures in the entertainment industry.
