Agadir, Morocco has been ranked as the second most affordable holiday destination for 2026, according to travel expert “robonthebeach,” who analyzed travel statistics to identify popular and budget-amiable locations. This marks the first non-European destination in the top three.
The ranking comes as more travelers seek alternatives to traditional hotspots like the Canary Islands. Rob notes Morocco offers a compelling combination of affordable all-inclusive resorts and exotic culture,all within a relatively short flight. “It’s a four-hour flight from the UK, the temperature is around 25 degrees all year round and the resorts have moved up a notch in recent years,” he said. A week-long stay, including flights, currently costs approximately £370 per person.
Egypt topped the list with a seven-night, five-star all-inclusive stay in June 2026 estimated at £412 per person.Bulgaria followed in third,offering a seven-day package for a family of four at £214 per person. Rounding out the top five were Seville, Spain (£182 per person for three nights) and Porto, portugal (£213 per person for three nights).
