AEW Collision Spoilers: MJF, Thunder Rosa & More – Results from 02/24 Taping

February 26, 2026 Alex Carter - Sports Editor Sport

Following the conclusion of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in Denver, Colorado, the promotion taped matches for this Saturday’s episode of Collision at the Mission Ballroom. The taping featured a confrontation between AEW Champion MJF and Kevin Knight, as well as a post-match brawl involving Konosuke Takeshita and Jon Moxley.

The Death Riders emerged victorious over The Don Callis Family in a six-man tag team match. Immediately after the bell, Takeshita and Moxley engaged in a physical altercation, escalating tensions between the two wrestlers. Takeshita, currently a member of The Don Callis Family, is a Japanese professional wrestler signed to AEW, DDT Pro-Wrestling, and Modern Japan Pro-Wrestling. He became the AEW International Champion in 2023 and, according to Wikipedia, won the 35th G1 Climax tournament and the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in 2025.

Andrade el Idolo secured a win against Tomohiro Ishii in singles competition. Elsewhere on the card, Toni Storm defeated Zayda Steel, and Tommaso Ciampa was victorious over Jay Lethal. The Brawling Birds likewise earned a win, defeating Gypsy Mac and Tyler R. In tag team action, Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada triumphed over Top Flight. The women’s division saw Thunder Rosa and Kris Statlander defeat the Sisters of Sin, comprised of Julia Hart and Skye Blue.

The second hour of Saturday’s Collision broadcast will directly compete with WWE’s Elimination Chamber event, airing on the ESPN Ultimate app. The March 7 episode of Collision is scheduled to return to a live format, coinciding with the second hour of NXT Vengeance Day, which will be broadcast live on Peacock.

On February 8, 2023, MJF defeated Konosuke Takeshita in a full match on AEW Dynamite, as seen on YouTube. More recently, on February 21, Mark Davis, alongside Takeshita and El Clon, defeated The Death Riders on Collision. Briscoe lost to MJF in Australia on February 14.
