AEW Collision Results – March 22, 2026: Ciampa, Cassidy & More!

March 23, 2026 Alex Carter - Sports Editor Sport

Fresno, California – In a night of wrestling action dubbed “Slam Dunk Sunday,” All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Collision delivered a series of matches on March 22, 2026, at the Save Mart Arena. The event, the second part of a two-night special following “Slam Dunk Saturday,” featured a notable victory for Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong, and a declaration of allegiance from Strong that has shifted the landscape of one of AEW’s factions.

The evening began with a tag team match pitting Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong against Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson, accompanied by Blake Christian. Prior to the bout, Lethal was observed placing Cassidy’s jacket on Johnson after Cassidy discarded it, a gesture seemingly intended to provoke his opponent. The match saw a back-and-forth exchange, with Lethal and Strong initiating the action with chain wrestling. During the contest, a moment of remembrance was observed for Dennis Condrey, a founding member of the Midnight Express, who recently passed away at the age of 74, according to commentary from Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.

The match continued with periods of dominance for both teams. Cassidy attempted his signature “Beach Break” maneuver, but was countered by Johnson. Outside the ring, Blake Christian intervened, wearing Cassidy’s jacket, and attempted to disrupt the match. The turning point came as Strong regained control, unleashing a series of backbreakers and suplexes on Johnson. Cassidy secured the win for his team after throwing Johnson onto Lethal following a knee strike.

Following the victory, Roderick Strong addressed the crowd, stating he owed an explanation to both Cassidy and the AEW fans. He announced his official joining of The Conglomeration, a move that was immediately met with a response from David Finlay and Clark Connors, who appeared on the arena’s video screens. Connors issued a challenge to Cassidy and Strong for a match on a future episode of AEW Dynamite.

In other matches, The Divine Dominion (Lena Kross and Megan Bayne) successfully defended their AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship against Alex Gracia and Vipress, securing a victory with a double chokeslam. “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa emerged victorious over Lio Rush in a hard-fought singles match. The contest featured a refusal of a handshake from Ciampa, and a series of intense exchanges, culminating in Ciampa’s signature “Project Ciampa” maneuver, though it initially only earned a near fall. Ciampa ultimately secured the win with a running knee strike.

The main event of the evening saw JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey) and Mistico retain their AEW World Trios Championship against The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita, Josh Alexander, and El Clon). The match was marked by fast-paced action, including multiple dives to the outside. Josh Alexander sustained an injury during the match and was unable to continue. The finish came when Mistico locked in his submission hold, “La Mistica,” on El Clon, forcing a tap-out.
