london, UK – Rock legends Aerosmith have joined forces with rising star yungblud for a new five-track EP, One More Time, marking the band’s first release of original music in over ten years. The collaboration is celebrated with an exclusive cover story in the latest issue of Rolling Stone UK, detailing the creative partnership between the iconic American band and the UK’s “prince of rock.”
The EP,produced by Matt Schwartz, features four original songs co-written by Aerosmith and Yungblud, alongside a reimagined version of the Aerosmith classic,”Back In the Saddle.” The unlikely pairing came about through a quick connection, as described by Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. “It was, like, insane, meeting Dom for the first time,” tyler told Rolling Stone UK. “I fucking fell in love with him, first sight. All I could think of was – dare I say something that’s been used to death? – he was like a brother from another mother. It was like looking at myself in the mirror. Like: ‘Wait, where have I seen this fucking guy before?'”
