The ADAC has examined the fuel prices at German motorway filling stations. Result: Compared to petrol stations away from the highway, drivers sometimes have to pay tremendous serves. The price differences even intensified compared to previous years. Significant additional costs can quickly arise for normal tank filling.
The differences in certain rest areas are particularly drastic, where drivers sometimes pay significantly more than necessary. The ADAC criticizes this pricing policy sharply and sees the extreme surcharges as not justified. But there are also positive exceptions that prove that fair prices would be possible.
