Accor Plus Transforms into ALL Accor+ Explorer in Major Overhaul

Loyalty Program Simplifies to Single Tier, Alteraing Key Benefits for Members

Accor is set to dramatically revamp its Accor Plus loyalty program, rebranding it as ALL Accor+ Explorer and consolidating all existing membership tiers into a single offering effective October 1, 2025. The move promises standardized benefits across the board, though preliminary details suggest significant shifts in popular perks.

Program Overhaul Detailed

The consolidated program, ALL Accor+ Explorer, will replace all previous Accor Plus memberships, including Traveller, Supplementary, Explorer, Explorer Plus, Business Explorer, and Discovery. Each member will now receive an identical set of benefits: two Stay Plus nights usable across Asia Pacific, 30 complimentary status nights annually, and a 15% discount on public room rates at over 4,500 Accor hotels worldwide. Dining discounts in Asia Pacific will be adjusted to 30%, with a 15% discount on drinks also extended across the region. Members will also gain access to exclusive events and partner offers. The annual cost for a standalone membership in Singapore is set at S$299, with potential variations in other geographies.

Accor Plus is undergoing significant changes impacting its loyalty program.

Accor is positioning these changes as providing “more value, flexibility and exclusive experiences,” responding to member feedback. However, an analysis of the revised benefits suggests a mixed bag for loyal customers.

Key Benefit Adjustments Announced

A notable shift involves the popular Stay Plus certificates, which historically offered a free night without minimum stay requirements. Under the new ALL Accor+ Explorer program, these certificates will require a minimum stay of two consecutive nights, with at least one night being a paid booking. The Stay Plus certificate will then be applied to the most expensive night within that booking. Bookings made before September 30, 2025, will adhere to the current terms.

Crucially, existing members with multiple Stay Plus certificates will face a new cap of two certificates under the new program. Any certificates exceeding this limit must be redeemed by October 1, 2025, or they risk being forfeited. This effectively penalizes members who have accumulated more than two Stay Plus nights.

The dining discount, a cornerstone benefit for many Accor Plus members, will see a reduction from a potential 50% to a flat 30%. Previously, discounts varied based on the number of diners, with a 50% discount available for a member plus one guest. The new structure offers a 30% discount for parties of up to 10 guests, a potential improvement for larger groups but a clear reduction for couples.

In contrast, the discount on paid hotel stays is increasing from 10% to 15% year-round, provided bookings are made through Accor’s official channels. Additionally, the number of complimentary status nights awarded annually will rise from 20 to 30, significantly aiding members in achieving higher elite tiers like ALL Gold or even ALL Platinum, especially when combined with other promotions.

Options for Existing Members

Members who purchased their Accor Plus membership outright and are unsatisfied with the upcoming changes have the option to cancel their membership and receive a pro-rated refund. However, this decision comes with significant implications: forfeiture of any unused Stay Plus certificates, including those already booked but not yet utilized, and a potential downgrade in their ALL elite status due to the loss of 20 status nights. Accor advises completing all Stay Plus nights before requesting a refund. Members who received their membership through credit card partnerships or other promotions are not eligible for this refund.

As of early 2025, over 10 million members were actively participating in the ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty program, highlighting the significant impact these changes could have on a substantial user base.

Conclusion: A Mixed Bag of Changes

The transition to ALL Accor+ Explorer represents a significant simplification of the Accor Plus program. While the increase in hotel stay discounts and the boost in complimentary status nights are positive developments, the reduction in dining discounts and the new restrictions on Stay Plus certificates are likely to be met with disappointment by many long-standing members. The program’s future success will depend on how effectively the new standardized benefits resonate with its diverse membership.
