Lenovo Yoga, Legion & IdeaPad: New Ryzen AI Max Models at MWC 2026

Barcelona, Spain – Lenovo unveiled a range of new devices at Mobile World Congress 2026, focusing on artificial intelligence to enhance user experiences across its Yoga, IdeaPad, and Legion lines. From new Yoga convertibles with calibrated OLED displays for creators, to a folding gaming console, the company signaled its intent to compete on both power and versatility.

“The next generation of creators and gamers expect power, portability, and intelligence to coexist in a single device,” said Jun Ouyang, senior vice president and general manager of Lenovo’s Consumer Segment, Intelligent Devices Group. Ouyang stated the company’s goal is to integrate “bold hardware with system-level AI” to deliver “a more seamless, intelligently connected experience.”

One of the most striking announcements was the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept, a laptop designed for digital content creators seeking to work directly in 3D without the need for glasses. The device features dual PureSight Pro Tandem OLED displays, allowing users to view depth and spatial relationships directly on the top panel. Lenovo is positioning itself to capitalize on a projected tripling of the global market for glasses-free 3D displays between 2025 and 2032.

The Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept integrates AI to convert 2D content into 3D and generate interactive environments based on user input. The laptop is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. It also incorporates gesture control via an RGB camera, enabling users to rotate, zoom, and interact with 3D objects using hand movements. A touch-enabled lower display features “snap-on pads” for adjusting lighting, angles, and tone.

For gamers, Lenovo presented the Legion Go Fold Concept, a portable gaming console with a folding display that expands from 7.7 inches to 11.6 inches. The device offers four modes of apply: traditional portable mode, vertical split-screen, full-screen horizontal mode, and an expanded desktop mode with a detachable keyboard. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, 32 GB of RAM, and a 48 Whr battery, the Legion Go Fold Concept aims to bridge the gap between laptop and handheld gaming.

The updated Yoga family includes the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition (14”, 11), a convertible laptop targeted at illustrators and creators. Its 2.8K PureSight Pro OLED display reaches up to 1100 nits of brightness and covers 100% of the DCI-P3, Adobe RGB, and sRGB color spaces. The device includes the Yoga Pen Gen 2 with AES 3.0 support and a new Canvas Mode that elevates the laptop for improved drawing ergonomics. Weighing just 1.29 kg, the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition also integrates Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and Copilot+ features in Windows 11.

Lenovo also announced the Yoga Pro 7a (15”, 11) and the Legion 7a (15”, 11), both powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Series processors with unified memory architecture. The Yoga Pro 7a offers up to 128 GB of shared RAM between the CPU and GPU, while the Legion 7a is the first Lenovo gaming laptop to utilize unified memory without a dedicated GPU, relying on integrated Radeon graphics. The Legion 7a features a 15.3-inch PureSight OLED display and weighs 1.65 kg.

On the tablet front, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 will be the first to integrate Lenovo Qira, a personal ambient intelligence feature that will be deployed across more than 20 devices within the ThinkPad, Yoga, Legion, and IdeaPad ecosystems. Equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, a 3.5K 13-inch display, and a 10,200 mAh battery, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is positioned as a premium study companion, offering live transcription and AI-powered summarization. The Legion Tab (8.8”, 5) features a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 165 Hz refresh rate, 16 GB of RAM, and a Coldfront Vapor cooling system with a 32% improvement in heat dissipation.
