“I have experienced a lot for saying that I am a Hindu,” Anusree said, as reported by the Malayalam-language news portal. She further clarified that her involvement with the Balagokulam, a Hindu organization for children, was not intended as an act of religious extremism.
Anusree’s comments reach amid a broader discussion about religious identity and cultural awareness among younger generations in Kerala, according to the report. She noted that many children today lack understanding of Hindu religion and their own culture.
