Bronson Reed Undergoes Surgery After Raw Biceps Injury | WWE News

Bronson Reed underwent surgery on Saturday for a torn biceps sustained during this past Monday’s WWE Raw, the wrestler announced via social media. The injury occurred even as Reed intervened in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match, attempting to break a pinfall.

Reed immediately signaled distress, clutching his arm before being attended to by WWE medical personnel and exiting the match. The injury is expected to cause “heavy rewrites” to current Raw storylines, according to reports from Sports Illustrated and Fightful. Reed is currently out indefinitely.

Jey Uso ultimately won the qualifying match. Though, the fallout from the event continued on Friday’s SmackDown, where Uso was shown being transported from the arena via ambulance. WWE General Manager Nick Aldis subsequently arranged a match between Logan Paul and Jacob Fatu to determine the final entrant into the Elimination Chamber match, a contest won by Paul.

The circumstances surrounding Reed’s injury were reportedly part of a planned angle involving Logan Paul and a “masked man,” though the extent of that plan remains unclear following Reed’s departure from the match. The masked man had previously attacked Austin Theory the prior week on Raw.
