The popular French comic book series Les Légendaires, created by Patrick Sobral, is expanding its reach with a new animated film, following a previous television adaptation. The comic, which began publication in August 2004 with Delcourt, centers on a group of heroes with diverse origins navigating a medieval-fantasy world. The premise involves a magical catastrophe that reverted the population to childhood, with the heroes bearing responsibility for the event. The series currently comprises 23 albums.

Updates from February 9, 2026, highlighted a cinema event in Vénissieux and revealed pages from the upcoming Saga volume 13 and Origines volume 7.
