Jeff Goldblum, Jennifer Saunders, Vanessa Williams, and Josh Widdicombe will appear as the inaugural guests on The Claudia Winkleman Show, launching on BBC One on March 13th at 10:40pm, the BBC announced Wednesday.
The new chat show, produced by the team behind The Graham Norton Show, marks a significant expansion of Winkleman’s role at the BBC. She stepped into Norton’s shoes as a guest host in 2025, a run that reportedly led to the commission of her own series. The initial series will consist of seven episodes, according to the BBC.
Winkleman herself expressed surprise at being given the opportunity, stating, “I can’t quite believe it and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity. I’m obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I’m over the moon they’re letting me try.”
The announcement of the premiere date follows confirmation in December that Winkleman had secured her own celebrity chat show. The program will likewise be available on BBC iPlayer, broadening its accessibility.
Winkleman’s expanding portfolio at the BBC comes after she and Tess Daly announced their departure from Strictly Arrive Dancing last year. She has since hosted the fourth season of The Traitors, with a celebrity version scheduled for later in 2026, and will also present the fourth season of Channel 4’s The Piano alongside Mika and Jon Batiste.
