Egyptian actress Bushra revealed details surrounding her divorce from artist Khaled Hmeida, stating the separation occurred after a year and a half of marriage. The revelation came during a recent media appearance, where she refuted claims that a failed business venture prompted the split, describing such reports as a “rumor.”
Bushra clarified that the project in question remains ongoing and that she continues to be involved. She indicated that the initial lack of public announcement regarding the marriage led to perceptions of a shorter union, with some believing it lasted only eleven months.
“I am not impulsive, and I prefer to end the relationship before things develop into tricky stages,” Bushra stated, according to reports. She added that she often receives guidance through dreams, and acts accordingly.
The actress also addressed her relationship with her first husband and the father of her children, but details of that discussion were not immediately available. She also touched on her relationships with colleagues in the Egyptian entertainment industry.
Bushra emphasized that she prioritizes her dignity and did not experience infidelity during her marriage to Hmeida. The comments were made during an interview with media personality Amira Bader on the program “Asrar.”
