Bruny Nsimba Transfer: Club to Sign Free Agent Striker?

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

FCV Dender EH will be without its leading scorer, Bruny Nsimba, for the remainder of the current season, as the player is set to depart on a free transfer. Multiple Belgian news outlets, including Nieuwsblad, Voetbalkrant.com and VoetbalPrimeur.be, report that Nsimba will leave Dender at the end of his contract.

Nsimba’s potential destinations include several prominent Belgian clubs: Anderlecht, Racing Genk, and Antwerp, as well as Mechelen, the club where he began his youth career. The forward’s availability on a free transfer has reportedly attracted significant interest.

The loss of Nsimba represents a significant setback for Dender, currently positioned as the league’s bottom team. VoetbalPrimeur.be reported that Dender will be without Nsimba’s services for at least until the Play-Offs.

Dender faced Gent on March 22, 2026, according to FOX Sports, but the outcome of that match and its impact on Nsimba’s departure were not immediately available. Prior to that match, Dender lost to Oud-Heverlee Leuven on February 14, 2026, as reported by FOX Sports.

Anderlecht also played FCV Dender EH earlier this season, with live score updates and predicted lineups available through FotMob as of February 25, 2026. Sports Mole provided a preview of the upcoming match between Gent and Dender, including team news and predicted lineups.
