Weisz Fanni’s Son Bendegúz: First Birthday & Baby Sign Language Journey

Budapest – Hungarian model Weisz Fanni and her husband are navigating the challenges and joys of parenthood as their son, Bendegúz, recently celebrated his first birthday in December. The couple, who welcomed Bendegúz on December 19, 2025, are finding a recent rhythm to life with a young child, marked by both intense demands and profound connection.

Although the arrival of Bendegúz brought a shift in priorities for Weisz Fanni, she emphasizes a conscious effort to maintain a sense of balance and intentionality. “Since Bendegúz was born, my focus has completely changed, and along with that, I’ve become much more aware,” she stated in recent interviews. The family is establishing traditions to ensure Bendegúz’s birthday receives special recognition alongside the Christmas celebrations.

Weisz Fanni is actively incorporating baby sign language into her communication with Bendegúz, a practice she began from birth. “It’s so sweet because he expresses himself with minor signs. Since he can’t talk yet, he communicates with gestures, and he’s already able to ‘respond’ with them beautifully. He seems to understand almost everything I say to him,” she explained. This method allows for a surprisingly high level of understanding between mother and son, fostering a unique bond.

Currently, Bendegúz is experiencing what Weisz Fanni describes as a strong attachment phase, seeking comfort and security primarily from his mother, though his father also shares dedicated time with him. Weisz Fanni acknowledges the physical and emotional demands of this period, describing it as both “touching and physically intense,” but emphasizes her commitment to fully experiencing this stage, recognizing its transient nature. She has adapted to a slower pace of life, prioritizing the needs of her son over previous commitments to travel and large projects.

Bendegúz is described as an active and curious child, already demonstrating developmental milestones such as pulling himself up to stand and exploring his surroundings. He is captivated by objects that light up or make sounds, and shows a keen interest in imitating the actions of those around him. The family is preparing for a busy holiday season, focusing on creating experiences and shared moments rather than excessive gift-giving.
