A scene featuring actor Taim Hassan and a lemon-scented fragrance in the Ramadan 2026 drama series “Al-Maulana” has sparked widespread discussion across social media platforms, according to reports from multiple Arabic news outlets.

The series, starring Hassan, centers on a man named Jaber who flees his past and adopts a false identity within a remote village, presenting himself as a figure of religious authority. Layalina magazine describes the demonstrate as exploring themes of identity and faith through a suspenseful narrative.

The sixth episode of “Al-Maulana,” produced by El Haram Production, has drawn particular attention. Iqraa24 reports that the series is being broadcast on MBC channels with daily rebroadcasts to accommodate viewers across the Arab world. The show’s narrative involves a village awaiting a miracle, and the character of Jaber’s deception.

Actress Nour Ali’s portrayal of the character Shahla has also been highlighted, with Erm News noting that she is “redefining” the role. Reports indicate Ali’s character confronts Colonel Kefah, leading to regret.

Yet, the series has also faced scrutiny. Laha Magazine reports allegations that scenes within “Al-Maulana” bear a resemblance to sequences from a previously released Egyptian film and a work featuring actor Anthony Quinn, raising questions about originality.

Hassan himself acknowledged the buzz surrounding the series, stating, “Ramadan is bringing us together,” according to reports. The series is currently airing throughout Ramadan 2026.
