South Korean girl group IVE released their second full-length album, “Revive+,” on Monday, accompanied by a showcase event at the Yes24 Live Hall in eastern Seoul, according to reports from multiple Korean news outlets.

The six-member group – An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz and Leeseo – performed the lead track “Blackhole” and answered questions from reporters during the showcase, as detailed by the Korea JoongAng Daily and SBS Star. The album features a total of 12 tracks, including the double lead singles “Blackhole” and “Bang Bang.”

IVE is expanding its musical narrative with “Revive+,” moving beyond themes of self-confidence to explore relationships and connections, according to Sports Donga. Several members contributed to the songwriting process, with Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, and Leeseo all participating in writing the lyrics for their respective solo tracks.

Jang Won-young’s track, “8,” is described as having a “heavy and tense atmosphere” with a cold, minimal sound, intended to evoke excitement. Gaeul’s song, “Odd,” reflects on embracing challenges and fears, while Lee Seo’s “Super ICY” aims for a cool and sophisticated mood with an addictive hook. Liz’s contribution, “Unreal,” was written with the group’s fanbase, known as “dive,” in mind, and incorporates a rock style. Rei’s song, “In Your Heart,” and An Yu-jin’s track, “Force,” were partially unveiled during the group’s second world tour, “Show What I Am,” which began in Seoul last October.

IVE is scheduled to hold a two-day meet and greet event, “Dive into IVE,” on March 21 and 22 at Inspire Arena in Incheon, the Korea JoongAng Daily reported.

“Revive+” was made available on various music platforms at 6 p.m. KST on Monday.
