Lover’s Diner Menu: Angelo GB’s 4m Olive Oil Recipe | Pietro Petrucci

by Emma Walker – News Editor

A terse message posted online Friday evening by Pietro Petrucci, father of musician Angelo Petrucci, detailed specific dietary instructions for a “Lover’s Diner” – no butter, only extra virgin olive oil. The post, accompanied by the phrase “C’mon … Then … Just a good ‘menu’ for a Lover’s Diner …. 4m. Angelo GB,” appeared on an unspecified platform and quickly drew attention from fans of the gospel duo Angelo & Veronica.

Angelo & Veronica Petrucci have been performing together for over three decades, releasing their debut album, Higher Place, in 1992. The duo has earned three Dove Awards, including recognition for their song “God Knows,” and a nomination for a GMWA Excellence Award, according to their official website and verified by multiple sources.

Angelo Petrucci’s musical background dates back to his childhood in Boston, Massachusetts. His father, a professional jazz guitarist, began teaching him the instrument at age five. When his father became ill, Angelo stepped in to perform with his band at the age of 13, becoming a sought-after musician in the Boston area. He later attended the Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship, as reported by both Angelo & Veronica’s website and Wikipedia.

Veronica Torres Petrucci, originally from the Bronx, Fresh York, also studied at Berklee College of Music. Angelo Petrucci has stated he knew immediately upon seeing her perform with the Berklee Gospel Choir that she was the woman he would marry. The couple wed in April 1992.

Beyond their musical careers, Veronica Petrucci has released three solo albums, including Made It Out Alive, and authored a personal memoir, How I Made It Out Alive, detailing her experiences overcoming fear and depression. Both Angelo and Veronica Petrucci have been awarded honorary doctorates for their contributions to Christian and Gospel music. They currently offer online vocal training through “Master Your Voice” and host an online ministry, Higher Place Church, every Sunday.

The meaning behind Pietro Petrucci’s online post remains unclear. Neither Angelo & Veronica’s official website nor their social media channels have addressed the message as of Saturday morning. Representatives for the duo have not responded to requests for comment.
