Two EuroMillions players in Ireland are celebrating significant wins after Friday’s draws, with prizes totaling over €661,000. A Dublin player secured the €500,000 top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw, while a player in Cork won €161,198 in the main draw.

The Dublin winner matched the numbers 02, 12, 26, 28, and 41 in the Plus draw. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Centra Drumcondra, located at 32-38 Lower Drumcondra Road in Dublin 9, on Thursday, February 19th. This win marks the third substantial EuroMillions win for a Dublin player within the past week, according to the National Lottery.

On Tuesday, February 17th, another Dublin player won €500,000 after purchasing a ticket at Dunnes Stores in the Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght. Prior to that, on February 13th, a player in Drumcondra won €1,005,000 in a special EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle.

The Cork player came close to winning the main €130 million jackpot, matching five numbers and one lucky star. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Mace Sallybrook in Glanmire, Co. Cork.

National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr urged players in both counties to carefully check their tickets. “Over the past week, EuroMillions players in Dublin have enjoyed incredible wins,” Orr stated. “A player in Drumcondra got their weekend started in style after scooping the top prize of €500,000 in Friday night’s draw. Just days earlier, a player in Tallaght won €500,000 in Tuesday’s Plus draw while last Friday 13th February, another Drumcondra player won €1,005,000 in the special Ireland Only Raffle.” She added, “A Cork player also had plenty to celebrate on Friday night after matching five numbers and one lucky star to win €161,198 in the main draw.”

The National Lottery advises winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep them safe, and contact the Prize Claims team at 1800 666 222 or claims@lottery.ie to arrange collection of their prizes.

As no winner claimed the €130 million jackpot, Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot is now estimated at €140 million.
