CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. — Freshman Allyssa Parker homered with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game, and Gabbie Garcia followed with a walk-off RBI single in the eighth as No. 4 Oklahoma defeated Cal State Fullerton 6-5 on Thursday night at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.

The Sooners (9-1) completed a doubleheader sweep with a 10-2, five-inning victory over San Diego State, highlighted by two home runs from Kendall Wells and a dominant pitching performance from Miali Guachino. Oklahoma has now won nine consecutive games.

Against Cal State Fullerton (4-7), Oklahoma fell behind 4-1 early, but chipped away at the deficit. Wells hit a two-run home run in the third, and Isabela Emerling tied the game with her fourth home run of the week in the fourth. The Titans regained the lead with an RBI double in the seventh, setting the stage for Parker’s dramatic tying home run.

In the eighth inning, a defensive play by Ailana Agbayani prevented a Fullerton run, preserving the tie. Garcia then delivered the game-winning hit, scoring Tia Milloy.

Audrey Lowry earned the win in relief, pitching six innings and allowing only one run. She has a record of 7-0 on the season, surpassing her win total from all of 2025.

The nightcap against San Diego State (8-3) was a more decisive affair. Wells hit two home runs, finishing the game with five RBIs. Emerling and Sydney Barker also added home runs for the Sooners.

Guachino struck out eight batters in five innings, allowing only two runs. She has allowed just six hits in 2026.

Oklahoma will continue play at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic on Friday, Feb. 20, against No. 14/20 Duke at 3 p.m. CT.
