K-Pop Star A Reportedly Has Child With Former Partner – Details

A popular K-Pop male singer, identified only as “A” by media outlets, has fathered a child with a former partner, according to a report from MHN Sports published Thursday. The birth occurred in the latter half of 2022, making the child approximately three years old.

The report indicates that documentation acknowledging paternity exists, though it remains unconfirmed whether “A” has formally registered as the child’s father or entered into a legal child support agreement. Sources close to the singer have stated that he has been providing some level of financial support, but the specifics of those payments have not been disclosed.

MHN Sports’ reporting has sparked discussion regarding the legal rights of children born outside of marriage and the responsibilities of parents in such situations. While acknowledging the general protection afforded to the private lives of public figures, the outlet noted that public image and associated liabilities cannot be entirely divorced from these matters.

MNH Entertainment, founded in November 2014 by Lee Ju-seop, a former manager at JYP Entertainment, has not yet issued a statement regarding the report. The Seoul-based entertainment group manages a roster of artists including the girl group BVNDIT, which debuted in April 2019 and previously managed singer Chungha following her participation in the survival show Produce 101. The agency similarly recently introduced its first actor, Yoon Jae-yong.

Further details are expected as the situation develops, according to MHN Sports.
