Polish actress and singer Julia Wieniawa has completed a significant renovation of a secluded home in the forest, incorporating a private music studio into the design. The property, described as an “azyl” or refuge, represents a deliberate move away from the bustle of Warsaw and a commitment to creative work and personal space, Wieniawa revealed in a recent podcast interview.
The home, located in a dense woodland setting, is characterized by a minimalist aesthetic and a strong connection to nature. Large windows blur the lines between the interior and the surrounding forest, maximizing natural light. Interior design choices emphasize natural materials, including wood and stone, creating a sense of relaxed elegance, according to reports.
Wieniawa’s desire for a dedicated creative space led to the inclusion of a professional-grade music studio within the home. This allows her to record new projects without the need to travel to studios in Warsaw, streamlining her workflow and fostering a more spontaneous creative process. “I have a new house in the forest where I will be for a long time, because I too made myself a music studio,” Wieniawa stated.
The interior features include a spacious living area with a large, comfortable sofa and a bathroom designed to evoke the atmosphere of a boutique spa, complete with marble finishes and carefully curated accessories. Wieniawa has shared glimpses of the completed spaces on social media, expressing her delight with the results, particularly the bathroom, which she described as feeling “like living in Pinterest.”
The renovation reflects current design trends, incorporating elements of mid-century modern style and a focus on “slow life” principles. The property is one of several real estate investments made by Wieniawa, who also owns an apartment in Warsaw and another smaller apartment held as an investment.
Wieniawa emphasized the importance of solitude and self-reflection in motivating the move, stating she needed “time alone” and had “begun to enjoy” the quietude of the forest setting. The home represents a significant investment in both her professional and personal well-being.
