Macauley Jones’ Toyota Supra will sport a striking new livery for the upcoming Repco Supercars Championship season, unveiled by Brad Jones Racing (BJR) today. The design, described as eye-catching, features a bold colour scheme intended to represent the Sydney region.
The livery reveal comes as BJR secures a new partnership, aligning the team with AlphaTheta, known for its Pioneer DJ equipment. Jands, the Australian distributor for AlphaTheta, is as well involved in the collaboration. Phil Muffet, Jands CEO and Managing Director, highlighted the synergy between the two brands, noting their shared Japanese heritage and commitment to engineering excellence and performance.
“There’s a natural synergy in seeing AlphaTheta aligned with Toyota on the Supercars grid,” Muffet stated. “Both brands share Japanese heritage, a deep commitment to engineering excellence, and a relentless focus on performance and unlocking potential, whether behind the traditional decks or on the track.”
The limited-run livery is intended to be a standout feature on the Supercars circuit. Details of the specific design elements have not been fully disclosed, but reports indicate a vibrant and modern aesthetic. The Supra will be driven by Macauley Jones throughout the season.
This announcement follows a separate livery reveal for the Fullwood/Vaughan Chevrolet team, also competing in the Repco Supercars Championship, which secured a new backer and corresponding colour scheme. The Fullwood/Vaughan Chevrolet team’s changes do not appear to be directly related to the BJR and AlphaTheta partnership.
