Turin, Italy – OGR Torino, the innovation hub of the Fondazione CRT and Talent Garden, a community partner of OGR Tech, are hosting an event focused on the intersection of longevity and predictive health, part of their ongoing “Mindful Thursday” series.
The event, titled “Beyond Years: Health Reimagined,” aims to connect startups, investors, companies, and professionals within the health technology sector. Organizers say the meeting will explore how technology is shifting healthcare from reactive treatment to personalized prevention, with a focus on data and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Fabio Bianco, VP Scientific & Corporate Development of Bio4Dreams and CEO of BrainDTech, will open the event with a discussion on the challenges of scaling and accessing scientific research. Virginia Gambardella, CEO and Founder of Qura, will then present on how integrating digital platforms and services is enabling new preventative healthcare models.
Cristina Odasso, Head of Business Analysis, and Francesca Mongardi, Project Manager, both of LIFTT, will analyze investment dynamics in Health Tech and Longevity, using real-world cases to demonstrate how venture capital can drive social and clinical impact.
The event will conclude with a networking session, providing an informal opportunity for speakers, startups, and investors to connect within the OGR Tech hub. According to Talent Garden, the collaboration between OGR Torino and their organization strengthens the community that drives innovation within the hub, positioning it as a key engine for innovation in Italy and Europe.
Fondazione CRT established OGR Torino with the goal of fostering cultural and technological innovation. In 2019, the organization opened the OGR Tech area dedicated to research and startup acceleration, representing a significant investment in the region’s innovation ecosystem. OGR Tech was described in a 2020 impact report as a unique European hub where startups and established companies collaborate on parallel programs to translate research into industrial development.
The OGR complex, originally built as railway workshops in the 19th century, underwent extensive renovations before reopening in 2017, with over 100 million euros invested by Fondazione CRT. The hub now hosts a variety of programs and events aimed at supporting the growth of innovative companies.
