A mobile home fire in East Anchorage on Saturday resulted in one rescue and the safe escape of two residents, according to the Anchorage Daily News.

Firefighters responded to the scene and successfully rescued one individual from the burning structure. The two other occupants were able to evacuate on their own prior to the arrival of emergency services. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

The incident occurred as heavy snow continues to impact Interior Alaska, according to Alaska’s News Source. A First Alert has been issued for the region, warning of significant snowfall.

Elsewhere in Alaska, the Denali Park Road is open to the Mountain Vista Rest Area for winter visitors, Your Alaska Link reported. This provides limited access to the park during the colder months.

The World Earthquake Report for Saturday, February 14, 2026, detailed seismic activity globally, as reported by Volcano Discovery, but did not indicate any events directly related to the Anchorage fire or the weather conditions in Alaska.
