Streamer IShowSpeed has hinted at a potential return to WWE, suggesting he “may be seeing” himself in the ring at WrestleMania 42, despite expressing concerns about further physical harm. The comments came during an appearance on Yahoo Sports Daily, where Speed reflected on his previous WWE experiences.
Speed’s first foray into professional wrestling occurred at the 2025 Royal Rumble, where he unexpectedly entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match as a replacement for Akira Tozawa. He managed to eliminate Otis before being eliminated himself by a spear from Bron Breakker. The appearance quickly gained traction online, becoming a viral moment across wrestling and social media platforms.
“Man, I don’t know,” Speed said on Yahoo Sports Daily. “I imply, We got WrestleMania coming up, so you may be seeing me in there, you may be not.” He also acknowledged the physical toll his previous appearances had taken, adding, “I’m just not trying to gain beat up. But, we’ll see, we’ll see. I got beat up too much times. I can’t, my body can’t take that anymore.”
Prior to the Royal Rumble, Speed also appeared at WrestleMania 40, where he was on the receiving end of an RKO from Randy Orton while positioned on the announcer’s table. This incident further cemented his presence within the WWE universe and highlighted his willingness to participate in physically demanding spots.
WrestleMania 42 is currently scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. While Speed’s participation remains unconfirmed, his recent statements indicate that a return to WWE is still under consideration.
