Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) held its first “State of Play” online showcase of 2026 on February 13th, a presentation lasting over 60 minutes, according to reports from multiple Korean news outlets.

The event, broadcast globally via YouTube and Twitch, featured updates and announcements from game studios worldwide, as detailed by Inven and MSN Korea. A key focus of the showcase was the unveiling of gameplay footage for a modern title based on the intellectual property “Eyes of the New Moon,” alongside a first look at a AAA game adaptation of the “John Wick” franchise.

The showcase also included updates on previously announced projects. Death Stranding 2 is slated for a PC release in March, as revealed during the presentation. A new Castlevania title, “Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse,” was also presented, described as a fully realized game. Further details were shared regarding the God of War trilogy remake, alongside news of a new installment in the series.

Beyond the high-profile titles, the State of Play featured “Kena: Scars of Kosmora,” a sequel to Ember Lab’s “Kena: Bridge of Spirits.” The sequel will see a more established Kena traveling with companions and unlocking new abilities, according to Inven. The presentation also highlighted the continued development of DOA, a fighting game franchise.

The event, described as “large-scale” by Moaddo, covered both third-party and independent game developers, as well as PlayStation Studios’ own titles. The scale of the presentation – exceeding the initially promised 60-minute duration – underscored Sony’s commitment to showcasing its upcoming PlayStation 5 lineup.
