by Dr. Michael Lee – Health Editor

A 23-year-classic man was admitted to an emergency department with a two-month history of unintentional weight loss and increasing abdominal pain and distension, according to a case study published today in The Latest England Journal of Medicine.

The case, detailed in the February 12, 2026, issue (Volume 394, Issue 7, pages 625-728), presents a diagnostic challenge for clinicians. The journal similarly features an article on improving regulations for human subjects research (pages 716-721) in the same issue.

The New England Journal of Medicine has been publishing medical research and review articles since its founding, and continues to serve as a leading source of information for medical professionals. The journal’s February 12th publication follows issues released earlier in the year, including Volume 394, Issue 6, published on February 5, 2026 (pages 521-624).

The journal’s website provides access to all issues published in 2026, as well as previous years, offering a comprehensive archive of peer-reviewed medical literature.
