De’Anthony Melton of the Golden State Warriors was available to play in Wednesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs, according to a report released by the NBA on February 12, 2026. This follows an initial designation of “questionable” due to a left gluteal contusion.

The Warriors guard had been listed as questionable on February 11, according to NBA reports, raising concerns about his availability for the matchup. However, the team confirmed his participation shortly before tip-off.

Melton, 27, is in his seventh year in the NBA, having been drafted in 2018. He previously played for the Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, and Philadelphia 76ers before joining the Golden State Warriors. He attended the University of Southern California.

Prior to Wednesday’s game, Melton started against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday, February 6, according to NBC Sports Bay Area. He also played in the Warriors’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies on February 9, contributing 10 points in 25 minutes of play.

In his last five games, Melton has averaged 11.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists. His shooting percentages include 41.3% from the field, 27.0% from three-point range, and 81.8% from the free-throw line.

The Warriors faced the Spurs at 7:30 PM PST on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. No further updates regarding Melton’s condition have been released by the team as of Thursday, February 12, 2026.
