A pre-Super Bowl kiss shared between New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and his wife, Ann Michael Maye, has drawn widespread attention online, quickly becoming a viral moment ahead of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
The image, captured and shared on social media platforms including TikTok by the NFL’s official account, shows the couple embracing before entering the stadium. Ann Michael Maye, formerly Ann Michael Hudson, posted a series of images on Instagram documenting the weekend leading up to the Super Bowl, including a mirror selfie showcasing her game-day outfit: a vintage Patriots jacket paired with polka dot pants. She captioned a post following the Patriots’ AFC Championship win, “WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!” and expressed her pride in her husband.
Drake Maye and Ann Michael Maye’s relationship dates back to middle school, with the couple marrying in June 2025. The 23-year-old quarterback has credited his wife’s consistent support throughout his football career, from his early games at Bailey Middle School to his current position on the national stage. “Her watching my middle school football games playing quarterback to now getting a chance to watch me in the super bowl … I wouldn’t rather do it with anybody else,” Maye said in a recent press conference.
Ann Michael Maye, 22, has gained a significant social media following in recent months, offering fans glimpses into her life, including her interests in baking and fitness. Her gameday attire has also garnered attention, with some fans even creating merchandise in her honor, dubbing her the “queen of the north.”
The Patriots’ appearance in Super Bowl LX marks a significant turnaround for the team, which finished the previous season with a 4-13 record. Maye, selected third overall in the 2024 NFL draft, led the Patriots to their first division title since 2019 and earned Pro Bowl honors during his rookie season. He followed that success with a second Pro Bowl selection and second-team All-Pro honors in 2025, also earning the NFL passer rating and completion percentage leader awards.
The Patriots are scheduled to face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, February 8, in a bid for their seventh Super Bowl title.
