Barcelona, Spain – Paris Baguette, a leading South Korean bakery chain, showcased a vision of the future of retail at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026 exhibition, held from February 3rd to 6th in Barcelona. The company collaborated with LG Electronics to present a technologically advanced store concept designed to highlight the growing influence of “K-Baveries” on the global market.

The exhibition space, as reported by The Hankyung and ZDNet Korea, featured LG’s B2B customized solutions integrated into a fully functional Paris Baguette store. Innovative display and signage technologies were central to the design, creating an immersive experience for attendees. The display featured popular Paris Baguette products including ‘K-Baverie Jeju Barley Bread’, ‘Blue Label High-Protein Black Bean Castella’, and ‘Annyeong Sandwich’.

According to a press release from Paris Baguette, the store’s design aimed to communicate the brand’s identity and story, emphasizing the blend of traditional Korean flavors and modern presentation. A three-sided LED media tower at the entrance and internal signage were utilized to convey the essence of ‘K-Baverie’ – a branding initiative designed to elevate Korean bakeries to a global trend, mirroring the success of K-Pop.

“K-Baverie” is described as an extension of Paris Baguette’s K-Bakery identity, with the vowel ‘ㅏ’ in ‘파바’ (Paba – the Korean pronunciation of Paris Baguette) elongated to evoke the style of K-Pop branding. The company is also operating a heritage store, ‘Gwanghwamun 1945’, reflecting the 80-year history of its parent company, Sangmidang.

Financial News reported that the collaboration with LG Electronics was intended to demonstrate the competitiveness and excellence of Korean bakeries to a European audience. The ISE 2026 exhibition is the largest display exhibition in Europe, providing a significant platform for Paris Baguette to showcase its innovative approach to retail and branding.

New Daily reported that the exhibition space served to introduce the future of ‘K-Baverie’ to the European market.
