Three new films debut in French cinemas on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, offering a diverse range of genres for audiences. The Paradis cinema in Quiberon will be screening films in two air-conditioned rooms with accessible access throughout the period of February 11th to February 24th.
Les Enfants de la Résistance, a drama and adventure film directed by Christophe Barratier, tells the story of three courageous children – François, Eusèbe, and Lisa – who engage in secret acts of resistance against the Nazi occupation during World War II. The film, rated appropriate for viewers aged eight and over, features Lucas Hector, Nina Filbrandt, and Octave Gerbi. It will have 1,009 screenings across France.
Likewise premiering on February 11th is LOL 2.0, a comedy directed by Lisa Azuelos and starring Sophie Marceau, Thaïs Alessandrin, and Vincent Elbaz. The film centers on Anne, who finds her newfound freedom disrupted when her daughter, Louise, returns home after professional and romantic setbacks. LOL 2.0 is scheduled for 145 screenings.
Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel, Hurlevent (Wuthering Heights), also opens Wednesday. Starring Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi, and Hong Chau, the film offers a modern take on the passionate and timeless love story of Heathcliff and Catherine. It will be shown in 452 cinemas.
Moselle TV is scheduled to broadcast a program, “Ci Né Ma,” on February 11th, focusing on the history of World War II and youth perspectives.
