The iPhone 17 is currently available on AliExpress for approximately 880 euros, marking a significant discount from its initial launch price of 959 euros, according to recent reports.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max in September 2025, alongside a latest iPhone Air model designed to replace a previously unreleased iPhone 7 Plus, according to a press release from the company. The iPhone 17 Pro models feature a redesigned camera module with similarities to Google Pixel phones, a vapor chamber cooling system, and the A19 Pro chip. The standard iPhone 17 received upgrades including an adaptive refresh rate display up to 120 Hz, the A19 chip, and increased dimensions.
The price reduction on the base iPhone 17 model is described as “extraordinary” given Apple’s typical pricing strategy. AliExpress offers free shipping and a 15-day free return policy, with discounts often exceeding those of competitors like Amazon, where the iPhone 17 is currently listed for 929 euros.
Despite not matching the capabilities of the Pro models, the iPhone 17 delivers high performance thanks to its A19 chip and 8 GB of RAM. The device features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology, supporting a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It also includes Face ID, dual SIM support, eSIM compatibility, water and dust resistance, and a dual-camera system with a 48 MP main lens.
The current offer includes a 80 euro discount compared to the original launch price, allowing consumers to purchase accessories such as cases and screen protectors.
