Seth Rollins is currently sidelined with a knee injury sustained during a WWE live event in Manchester, England on February 3rd. The injury occurred during a match against Finn Balor. Initial reports suggested a potential ACL tear, but Rollins has now provided an update.
Rollins took to social media to address fans,stating the injury isn’t as severe as initially feared.He confirmed he suffered a partially torn MCL adn meniscus. While he didn’t provide a specific timeline for his return,he indicated he’s optimistic about a relatively fast recovery.
“The good news is it’s not my ACL,” Rollins tweeted. “Tore my MCL and meniscus, partial tears. Timeline is still TBD but hoping to be back sooner rather than later. Thank you all for the well wishes!”
This injury forced Rollins to relinquish the World heavyweight Championship. A tournament to crown a new champion is underway, culminating at WWE Elimination Chamber on February 24th.
Despite the setback, Rollins remains positive about his wrestling future. He emphasized his dedication to the sport and his desire to continue performing at a high level. He doesn’t see this injury as a sign to slow down, but rather a temporary obstacle.
