The Augusta Press: Guidelines for Reader Comments

Content Standards
Comments should be relevant to the article being discussed. Off-topic posts,spam,and promotional material will be removed. We also prohibit the following:

- Hate Speech: Any content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups.
- Obscenity and Vulgarity: Excessive profanity or sexually explicit content.

The Augusta Press retains the full discretion to remove comments that violate thes guidelines.Our moderation team will review comments regularly. While we strive to be fair and consistent, our decisions are final.We do not pre-screen comments, but we reserve the right to do so if necessary.
